It's ridiculously close to Christmas and one thing that got me in the Christmas spirit was taking part in a teen blogger secret santa, organised by the wonderful Holly and Orli. Unfortunately, I missed the live Twitter opening last Thursday because I was singing cheesy Christmas songs with my music class in Princes Square. Then I missed the post upload date on Friday because...well, because I'm hopeless and kinda fell asleep at 5pm. Better late than never, I guess. So without further ado, here is what my super lovely Secret Santa got me.

My Secret Santa was Zoe from Books For Birds - thaaaank you, Zoe! I put in my wee bio (we were all sent a little survey to fill in with our book preferences etc.) that I really want to read The Outsider by Albert Camus and I think I said something about loving non-fiction books about creativity so Zoe really hit the nail on the head with my present. She got me Neil Gaiman's 'Make Good Art' speech which is genuinely one of the most original and beautiful books both content-wise and when it comes to design. I read it today and absolutely loved it. My sister's actually been telling me to read it for months because she's kinda in love with Neil Gaiman so I'm sure she'll be happy now. I haven't read The Outsider yet but I'm looking forward to it. As for the chocolate, that was gone long ago... Thanks again, Zoe. ♥

Lots of love, Cat
