What's your favourite Christmas movie?
I thought this tag was going to be easy but I'm stuck at the first question. Might as well just give up now, at least I tried.
It's a toss-up between Nativity (only the first one though), Home Alone, and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I think I'll settle for Christmas Vacation because it never fails to make me feel incredibly festive. It's quite an underrated one actually and I'd highly recommend it.

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Christmas morning...I didn't realise opening presents on Christmas Eve was a thing people did. Oh dear. My mum usually buys me and my sister new pyjamas and gives us those on Christmas Eve, though. Ain't she lovely? My mum's cool.

Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Every Christmas Eve for the past 5 or so years, my family's went to the GFT to see It's A Wonderful Life. I didn't like it the first time for some weird reason but it grows on me every year and now it's become a Christmas tradition I really love. I think that's one of my favourite Christmas memories, especially the third time I saw it which was the first time I really appreciated it.

Favourite festive food?
Christmas dinner is a little bit trickier for a vegetarian but even when I ate meat I only really liked the veg so not much has changed, just the way stuff is roasted. I'm gonna be boring and say that roast veg is my favourite festive food, I bloody love mince pies though.

Favourite Christmas gift?
Ohhhhhh I have no clue. My parents got me a digital piano for my bedroom a few years ago because our upright is incredibly old and doesn't sound good anymore. That was a really lovely present and I still love it now. It's nice to know that when I move out I'll be able to still have a piano because it's digital. I think my DSLR was for Christmas too which is the best gift a photography geek like me could wish for.

Favourite Christmas scent?
I'm quite fussy with scents and shockingly I don't actually like cinnamon all that much. I think my favourite festive scent is spiced orange, it always reminds me of those orange and clove things I used to make when I was little. I really like the smell of gingerbread too. And Christmas coffee.

Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
Aw damn I've already answered this. Well done, Catriona. To recap, my mum buys me pyjamas and we go to see It's A Wonderful Life at the GTF. My family knows how to Christmas Eve.

What tops your tree?
A silver plastic star cos we're fancy as. That reminds me, I plan to make my own star to replace that one this year. One with Olly Alexander on it because he's a true star.

As a kid, what was one gift you always asked for but never received?
I asked for a kitten countless times. One year, I wrote my mum a list of 50 reasons they should buy me a kitten but I still didn't get my kitten. I was going to name her Kisa and love her unconditionally but no. No kitten. I don't actually want a kitten anymore, Millie is the only cat I want in my life.

What's the best part of Christmas for you?
I love all of it. I love the build-up. I love the food. I love spending time with my friends and family. I love the decorations. I love Christmas shopping. I really love Glasgow in December. I just love it all.

Thank you to the lovely Amber from The Mile Long Bookshelf for tagging me! I have no clue who has and hasn't done it so I'm just gonna give everyone an open invitation to do it if you haven't already. I hope everyone has a wonderful festive season, no matter what holiday you celebrate! Love you all.
Catriona
